Paying with a click instead of a check is one of the conveniences of Online Bill Pay. From your mortgage and utility bills to your neighborhood babysitter, Online Bill Pay can help! Even if the merchant you’re paying can’t accept electronic payments, Online Bill Pay can automatically convert the payment to a paper check and send it with all the information necessary to post your payment.
This online service allows you to set up your bill payments electronically so they will take place automatically, even up to one year in advance.
Online Bill Pay also allows you to accept electronic bills from merchants that have set up this service. Participating merchants can electronically deliver your bill directly to the MDCU account you designate.
*MDCU will pay your monthly service fees with WebPayService as long as you pay at least one bill every two months, have an active Online Banking User ID and use your MDCU checking account with WebPayService.
Getting Started
Getting started is simple. . .you need a computer with Internet access and a browser capable of supporting Secure Sockets Layer 128 bit encryption. This technology encrypts all the information between you and the Bill Pay processing center, ensuring the security of your data.
You’ll receive a welcome kit in the mail a few days after you enroll. Then you’ll be ready to log on. MDCU will reimburse all monthly service fees as long as you pay at least one bill using Online Bill Pay every two months, you have an active MDCU Online Banking User ID and you use your MDCU checking account with Online Bill Pay.
